About the Role

As a Lead Technical Trainer at Skillio, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of data education. Your focus will be on designing and delivering top-tier training programs in data engineering, analytics, AI development, and machine learning - areas where the demand is high and the pace of change is even higher. You’ll take full ownership of our programs: crafting and evolving curriculums that stay ahead of industry trends and reflect the tools and technologies shaping the future. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively whether you’re building content, teaching or brainstorming with the team to raise the bar on what great looks like. And if you’re the kind of person who loves to get hands-on with tech, there’s room for that too. Depending on your interests and background, you can dive into our internal tech development helping us build the AI-powered learning tools that make learning smarter, faster and more impactful.

We are looking for someone who

• Is motivated to teach and develop people (previous teaching experience is a plus but not required)
• Has 2+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data analysis, data science, ML/AI engineering or similar roles (e.g. in consulting)
• Understands modern ways of working (including DevOps, agile/scrum, cloud environments)
• Has a solid technical foundation (programming, databases, cloud environments) and a good grasp of statistics (mathematics is a plus but not required)
• Is interested in the latest developments in the data scene and passionate about learning and applying modern tools
• Brings a strong mix of expertise and personality and who takes their work seriously, but not always themselves
• Is fluent in English and lives in the Helsinki metropolitan area
